About Benchmark Construction

Benchmark, founded in 2003 as DB&D Construction, began with one dump truck and a backhoe.

DB&D took mostly small jobs and punchlist items that other companies didn't want to bother with.

By word of mouth and references from satisfied customers, the company began doing turnkey sitework projects from clearing, grading and utilities through final paving and striping.

In 2005 the name was changed to Benchmark Construction and since then we have continued to grow.

We now have multiple crews and the equipment and resources to handle projects of virtually any size.

Benchmark Construction is a Virginia Licensed Class A Sitework, Excavation Contractor (2705085030A), and Certified as a Small Business by the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise.
