Benchmark Construction offers a variety of services to their customers including but not limited to:

Turnkey Site Work Package – From clearing the first tree to giving you a finished paved parking lot or roadway, we can handle every aspect of your site plan.

Excavation – The basis of our company and what we do best. If you have one yard or one million yards to move we can handle it for you.

Clearing – We have the capability to clear a site, remove logs and grind the balance up right on site. This provides a clean alternative to burning and a cheaper alternative than hauling all the material off site.

Demolition – We do smaller demolition when you need a house, or any structure removed due to safety reasons, or simply your convenience. We handle all permitting and hazardous materials compliance that is associated with an older house.

Site Development Assistance – We have developed many subdivisions and retail sites ourselves. We can provide you assistance in your development issues, or even handle the development of the project turn key.

Stream Restoration – Stream and wetland credits are becoming more and more important every day. If you have any questions about this, or have a stream that you feel could be restored, we can handle the permitting and construction of this. We can even do feasibility studies on your stream for you.

In House Practicing Engineer – We are able to make changes to drawings as needed. One of our owners is a licensed practicing engineer and can stamp drawings for submission to governmental agencies.

Permit Compliance – All of our jobs are always in compliance with current standards. However, there are a lot of permits that need to be in place prior to construction commencing. We have the experience to know what these permits are, and we can assist you in acquiring these. We will make sure that the jobsite is in compliance 100% of the time.

DCR VSMP Permitting Assistance – This is a relatively new permitting procedure that is still foreign to a lot of people. We have dealt with the DCR on this for years and know specifically what it is that they are looking for.

Snow Removal – Any where there is parking or traveling, there is need for snow removal. We have rubber tire equipment that can handle any size lot and amount of snowfall that Mother Nature can throw at us. We book up early in the winter months so please don’t hesitate to call when it is summer to line us up. You don’t want to be caught last minute trying to get a contractor on site when the snow is already falling.

Storm Water Management - Sediment basins and underground storm water management facilities are becoming more and more prevalent with new strict regulations. We have experience building all types of these facilities.
